Workshop Terms & Conditions

We want every Lakes & Rivers workshop to be a wonderful experience. As our workshops have limited places and materials, flowers, foliage, food and refreshments are prepared or ordered specifically for each event, the following booking terms apply.

Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received in full.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Unless otherwise stated, tickets are not available to purchase on the day of the workshop.

By completing your booking, you agree to these Workshop Booking Terms & Conditions.

Cancellations & Refunds

Workshop tickets are non-refundable if you change your mind or are unable to attend, subject always to your statutory rights.

Our workshops are leisure activities taking place on a specific date or during a specific period. The usual 14-day cancellation right applicable to some online purchases does not generally apply to bookings for leisure activities on a specified date.

If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to a friend or family member. Please contact us before the workshop to provide the name of the person attending in your place.

We are unable to guarantee transfers to an alternative workshop date, as places are limited and materials, staffing and refreshments are planned specifically for each event.

Nothing within these terms affects your statutory rights.

Workshop Changes & Cancellations

Our workshops may require a minimum number of guests to run.

In the unlikely event that minimum numbers are not reached, or circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent the workshop from taking place as advertised, we may need to reschedule or cancel the event.

Where we reschedule a workshop, you will be offered a place on the new date. If the new date is unsuitable, you will be entitled to a refund of the workshop ticket price.

If Lakes & Rivers Flower Farm cancels a workshop and no suitable alternative is offered, you will receive a refund of the workshop ticket price.

We will contact affected guests as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details provided when booking.

Lakes & Rivers Flower Farm cannot be responsible for additional expenses incurred in connection with attending a workshop, such as travel or accommodation costs.

Workshop Capacity

To ensure an enjoyable and personal experience, places at each workshop are limited. The capacity of individual workshops may vary depending on the venue and will be managed accordingly.

A minimum of 10 guests may be required for a workshop to proceed.

Arrival & Late Attendance

Please arrive at the time stated on your booking information so that the workshop can begin promptly.

If you are running late, please contact us where possible. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but we cannot guarantee that missed elements of the workshop can be repeated or extended.

Alcohol

Complimentary alcoholic drinks may be served at selected workshops where stated within the event description.

Alcohol will only be served to guests aged 18 or over, and we reserve the right to request proof of age.

Non-alcoholic alternatives will be available.

Food, Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Where food or refreshments are included, please make us aware of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements communicated to us in advance. However, food may be prepared in environments where allergens are present and we cannot guarantee that any food or drink will be completely free from allergens.

Workshop Materials

Flowers, foliage and decorative materials are seasonal and subject to availability. From time to time, substitutions may therefore be necessary.

Where this happens, we will always aim to provide an alternative of a similar quality, style and value while maintaining the overall experience and design of the workshop.

The examples and images shown when booking are intended to represent the style of the workshop and may not exactly reflect the materials available on the day.

Refreshments

Refreshments included within your ticket will be clearly stated on the individual workshop listing.

Where a workshop is held at an external venue, any additional food or drinks purchased directly from the venue are separate from your Lakes & Rivers Flower Farm booking and may be subject to the venue's own terms.

Photography

Photography and video may occasionally be taken during our workshops for use on Lakes & Rivers Flower Farm's website, social media and marketing.

Where guests are clearly identifiable, we will seek appropriate permission before using those images for promotional purposes.

If you would prefer not to appear in photographs or video, please let a member of the Lakes & Rivers team know on arrival.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Workshop Booking Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights you may have under UK consumer law.
